Meet the VETS Foundation
VETS — Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions — was founded in 2019 by Marcus and Amber Capone. Marcus served as a Navy SEAL through multiple combat deployments. After he retired, the real fight began — one happening inside, invisible to everyone but his family.
When conventional treatments didn't work, they found something that did: clinically guided psychedelic-assisted therapy. It changed their lives. And they built VETS so it could change others.
Today, VETS provides Foundational Healing Grants that fund veterans and their spouses to receive treatment at vetted facilities — along with coaching and support for the whole family. Because healing doesn't just happen to one person.
These aren't just statistics. Every number represents a real person — a spouse, a parent, a friend.
Roughly 20 veterans die by suicide every day. A recent study puts that number closer to 44.
Since 9/11, more than 140,000 veteran suicide deaths have been reported.
900+ veterans have come to VETS seeking a different path forward.
93.2% of grant recipients say they feel less depressed after treatment.
100% would recommend it to a fellow veteran.
